love the quote also... i always thought that the first 10 or so strikes are very exciting... by the 50th and 60th it's getting monotonous... and the last 20 are struck on pure faith... kind of like life's challenges...but when that rock DOES split... in retrospect, every single one of those blows was so individually worth the effort!!!

Hey Rob! Thanks for posting this on your website. Even though I wasn't there, one of the kids is my brother, another is my best friend, and the second boy is the brother's best friend. I think it's awesome that you took the time to acknowledge, take the pictures and post this blog for those kids. We all need to be more cognizent of children and be there for them to encourage good deeds. Not to mention the fact that they have the ability to remind us adults, on a very simple and basic level, of what a being an upstanding, caring, and civil human is supposed to mean.
